    Artistic Producer

    Meg Farhall is a Calgary based actor and theatre-maker. Meg has brought her administrative skills to many Calgary-based organizations including: The Old Trout Puppet Workshop, Alberta Theatre Projects, Shakespeare Company, Pumphouse Theatre, Company of Rogues Actors’ Studio and Alberta High School of Fine Arts

    As a performer you may have seen her work on the following stages: Theatre Calgary, Downstage Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, The Shakespeare Company, Theatre Yes, High Performance Rodeo, Major Matt Mason, Lunchbox Theatre and more.

    Meg holds a Theatre Arts Diploma in Performance from Mount Royal College (2000), a B.FA performance (2002) and a B.Ed. Drama Education degree (2005) from The University of Lethbridge.

  • Isabella Pedersen

    Artistic Associate

    Isabella "Izzy" Pedersen is a Filipina-Canadian-Danish actress, writer and radio host. She has worked internationally with companies such as Cosmopolitan Magazine, Global TV and Monster RX93.1.

    Through the power of stories, Izzy dreams of creating positive change through the Arts. She is deeply passionate about sharing diverse, inclusive women's/BIPOC perspectives in media.

    Upcoming performances: THE DA VINCI CODE (Canadian Premiere) at Vertigo Theatre.

    Recent performing credits include: KISAPMATA (Lunchbox Theatre/Chromatic Theatre), TEENAGE DICK (Alberta Theatre Projects), PARTS & LABOUR (Field Work Theatre/Inside Out Theatre), CANADA THE MUSICAL (Carter-Ryan Productions) and LITTLE WOMEN (Theatre Calgary).

    Isabella graduated (with honours) with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from De La Salle, College of Saint Benilde (2021).

Accomplishments

Since 2005, the company has produced twenty four productions from the classic and contemporary canons to premieres of new Canadian works. With artistic excellence leading our core values, artists associated with Handsome Alice Theatre productions have garnered two Betty Mitchell Awards, Twenty Betty Mitchell Award nominations, five Critics Choice Award nominations, and two FFWD Weekly Readers’ Choice Award nominations.
